Our Services

The Agricultural Worker Health Project (AWHP) offers a variety of services to farm workers and farm worker communities. We focus on these areas: occupational health and safety, safe housing, safe drinking water, farm worker transportation, and fighting discrimination and retaliation. For information on other topics, please visit our founding organizations, California Rural Legal Assistance and California Rural Legal Assistance Foundation.

All services offered by AWHP, CRLA and CRLAF are free. For more information on how to receive services from AWHP, CRLA and CRLAF, please contact us.

Some of the services we offer are:

  • Advice on legal matters
  • Referrals to other attorneys and organizations
  • Negotiation with employers and landlords
  • Field inspections of workplaces
  • Representation in administrative hearings or in the courts, as needed
  • Community outreach to farm workers
  • Community education to inform farm workers of their rights
